




Resident physicians have graduated medical school, completed an Medical Doctorate (MD) and are engaging in specialty training in Family Medicine, which is usually a 2 year program. Residents usually work in the clinic once per week but can have dedicated blocks of 1-2 months. They work under the guidance of one of the clinic physicians. Our current residents will be with us until June 2025.

Dr. Bressler was born and raised near Medicine Hat, Alberta. She moved to Lethbridge to complete a BSc and MSc in biochemistry before moving up to Calgary for medical school. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors: skiing, camping, fishing, rock climbing, and hiking. Her partner, Keegan, is looking forward to the avid mountain biking around Prince George. Throughout medical school, her experiences strengthened her passion for rural medicine, and supporting rural communities. She is excited to be pursuing residency in Prince George and exploring northern British Columbia! She will be graduating June 2025.

Dr. Saleem was born and raised in Pakistan. Inspired by many physicians in her family and having lived in both rural and urban areas of the country, she developed an interest in the field of medicine and community service. After completing her medical degree from a well-known school in Pakistan she has been actively involved in promoting health equity and advocacy among the underserved. She started her family after migrating to Canada. She and her husband, Umar, have 2 amazing kids ages 4 and 1. Working in various healthcare roles in Canada further ignited her passion to serve and integrate into the unique communities across the country as a primary care physician. Outside medicine, she enjoys family time, traveling and exploring nature, mountain trekking and singing. She is excited to start her full-scope family medicine residency at Prince George and serve the inhabitants of British Columbia. She will be graduating June 2025.

Dr Christian Francis has moved from Surrey BC, completed his BsC Hon in Physiology and Medical School at UBC Vancouver. He loves nature, travelling and outdoor adventures. He is pursuing a private pilots license as a side hobby. He will be graduating June 2026.
